week 2, thursday
[it's thursday evening. emotions are running high as everyone hallucinates on and off and a murder is about to happen. and here joshua is, in neku's hut, looking at it critically. how did neku get to this point.
also nanashi is there somewhere idk you can have a private convo w/ someone in the room shut up]
It's amazing how empty these look without the piano.
["joshua stop being on that" NEVER]

(probably dying back in shibuya, let's be real.)
his hallucinations are at least dampened by the fact that most of his memories are still missing; it's mostly been foods or the ambient chatter around the city. also, at least josh is not being too annoying right now. in fact, he might even feel sympathetic, because...]
Wait, she brought a freaking piano?

[he suffers? so much?]
I didn't sign up for gymnastics for a reason.
fuck it im tagging this so i dont ask you questions every five seconds
Well, you've got a lot of space for the night.
(I'm pretty sure this goes without saying, but for clarification: everything but the bed, thank you.)

[this is why he's gonna die. this comment. he just walks around like he didn't just say that, looking in interest]
my first version of this header was 'love me binch' but now i regret
<3
Hee hee... Relax, Neku. You're always so on edge. [he brushes some hair out of his face as he looks critically at the bed like his is, in any way, better?] I'm not really planning to sleep anyway.
[that sounds worse.]
no subject
Wait...what do you mean, not sleeping?
no subject
I need to test out a theory.

If you'd just have a little patience... Have you noticed anything strange today, Neku?
no subject
If you mean stuff like the bowl of ramen that's suddenly on my bed, gee, maybe.

[he will absolutely judge neku when he hears its not shio even tho IT'S ON NEKU'S PROFILE]
1/2
Shoyu. Pretty sure it's from Ramen Don.
(Man, I would kill for a real bowl at this point...)
no subject
Actually, I take back that thought.)

[can he ever not judge.]
Which brings me back to your original question-- it seems like everyone has been seeing things today. ... Except for me.
no subject
Oh, lucky you. Brag about it.

Well, go for it. Not like we're gonna get anything else done tonight.
(And I want to save the rest of my batteries for when someone ACTUALLY completely unbearable starts trying to talk to me.)

... If you insist. It all depends on how the hallucinations are caused, of course. For example, if we've got our lovely Chiefs to thank, it might simply be that I wouldn't have an amusing enough reaction to seeing things to make it worth it. From what I experienced with Fie, it seemed like it was limited to personal things. Fears, dreams-- nothing was taken that didn't have a basis in her. [a pause] Not that I don't have those.
[is he going to have to admit he could see the dead before the game. hm. he didn't really want to... it doesn't quite fit his neku narrative.]
hey guess who 1/2
Look, I asked for your "theories," not your life story. (Spare me the details, please. I. Don't. Care.)
[he's getting out of that one easy, at least]
no subject
...Mine not being completely awful must have something to do with my entry fee. You can't really use fear and dreams against an amnesiac.
no subject
My, my. Aren't you lucky? [what neku told him earlier :) ha ha] To summarize, the first theory I've got is that I'm simply not an entertaining enough target to bother. A bit flimsy, but considering the kind of character the Chiefs have, not completely out of the question. [hums] The second one assumes I'm simply immune to it because the Chiefs aren't causing it, and it's something on the island itself that is. I... don't think that's likely.
[then why bother saying it?? also, important, he's started pacing as he talks because LOOK]
no subject
What, are you saying there's something like a higher power at work here? Give me a break with the crappy clichés.
no subject
How much do you actually know about how the Game works?
