Sunday Week 3-- Graveyard
[Joshua, in his fluffy white pajamas, is currently alone in the kitchen somehow!! Looking like he's considering climbing the counters to get to something!! Not being able to levitate sucks. Anyway surely this would be a great time to ambush him about something!!]

[ a shrug. ]

he's annoyed, honestly, and he takes in a moment to look it. it's a sore spot on top of a sore spot, now.]

They can say what they want. [that's not half as believable when he's this bitter, but, y'know.] I wanted to die on my own terms, and wrestling the knife away from Raven was harder to accomplish. Satisfied?

I probably would have done the same thing, except that they seemed to have learned from your episode.
[ look. otherwise they probably would not have tied him down? what the heck. ]

Learned from it? [oh] That's why you were tied up?

Much easier to sacrifice someone to the volcano god if they can't run, right?

So, how was she going to fulfil the brutality clause in your death?

The knife. She was taking bloody rather literally. [she hadn't said exactly how, but the fact that she was trying not to hit anything vital gave him an idea or two.] I can't say I enjoyed burning alive, but it didn't take long. I don't think I could've said the same thing about--
[he pauses a bit, playing with his hair fake nonchalant.]
Well. Thrice in non-vital areas was enough for me.

or maybe it's bc vriska is a bitch
u kno wat let's just go with both ]
She could have stabbed you in the abdomen and left you to bleed out. [ spoken from experience? kinda sorta maybe ] Brutal doesn't have to mean prolonged.
... So why'd you decide to set yourself on fire?
no subject
[the fire thing is where it gets... dicey to justify.]
I couldn't have fought the knife off of her, and she wasn't letting up. Douse yourself with gasoline, though, and any killer's sure to take a step back. It seemed the easiest way to get her to back off.
